SEMICHEM OPENS NEW STORE IN MEADOWLANE

Semichem who have traded in unit 5 at Meadowlane Shopping Centre since 2002 have just opened a brand new store on 18^th  September 2009.  The new store, (located in unit 32) which is over twice the size of their original store, has now become the largest of their 24 Semichem stores across Northern Ireland. 

 The Semichem brand has been a well known brand across   Scotland and Northern Ireland for over 30 years.  Established in Scotland in 1977 Semichem quickly became recognised as a market leader in health and beauty discounting especially in branded fragrance. This successful business operates over 130 High Street stores across Scotland, Northern Ireland and now Northern England.  The new store in Meadowlane Shopping Centre is an example of their recent newly styled branding and design concept.

Store Manager Ann Jameson is delighted with the new store “ we have always been a very busy store but recently, we have been struggling to keep up with the growing level of trade so we needed bigger premises.  The new store offers even more quality products at a great price to Mid Ulster shoppers, including top brand fragrances at discounted prices and a full Christmas range.”

Meadowlane Centre Manager Sarah O’Neill welcomes the new store “I am very pleased to see another store opening for Meadowlane. This latest letting has further enhanced the retail offer within the centre.  Semichem have recognised Magherafelt as an important retailing destination which is reflected by their investment in the larger store at Meadowlane.”

 As well as Semi-Chem,  Meadowlane is home to more than 25 great name stores all under one roof including Dunnes, River Island, Boots, New Look, O2, Iceland and many more.  If all that shopping leaves you in need of a break why not visit one of the centre’s food outlets, including Costa Coffee,  Viva Café and Vea Janes Sandwich Bar & Café (located on level1) for a rest and to refuel.
